Good time of the year to plant a dwarf plum tree.?
I'm sure that you are referring to Krauters Vesuvius Plum.

As soon as the ground is warm in the spring is the best time.

Do not be shocked if your plum leafs our with green leaves at first. When it actually begins to grow, the leaves will darken.

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. For a tidy, neat appearance, shear annually to shape.

Best of luck, it's one of the most stunning flowering plums!
Reply:spring, get it in now! they are pretty trees!!
Reply:It depends on where you live. In the mid Atlantic states Fall or Spring are good times to plant trees. Check with your local garden center.
Reply:Mid fall
Reply:Best time is early Spring, when tree is still dormant, or just 'waking up'.
